Esther Duvall, age 97, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at the Atkins Nursing and Care Center.
She was born March 10, 1922, in Marshall, daughter of the late John Louis and Mary Ramsey Curtis.
She attended Kenwood Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, F.C. Duvall; son, Clifford Duvall; an infant son; an infant granddaughter; two infant great-grandsons; and and brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, David and Evelyn Duvall, Terry and Denise Duvall, Mary and Walter Brown, daughter-in-law, Lawana Duvall, Trisha Fougerousse, Debbie and Junior Taylor and Tracey and Lewis Orrick; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. on Friday.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Michael Brown and Rev. Eric Duvall officiating.
Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
