Many years ago, it was a Sunday morning, I was in Mass at the Atkins Church of the Assumption and I noticed a visitor in attendance. After Mass, I introduced myself — I loved her from that moment: Elsie Hagan!
At that time, Elsie was living in California and Arkansas. So I watched as the time of her arrival to Atkins came.

Elsie had an infectious smile, a loving and kind nature which endeared her to all. I visited her in her home and she was a guest in our home many times.

She helped everyone to feel special. Elsie was certainly special in her own right, a friend to all. I am truly blessed to have known her, loved her and experienced her loving ways.

Our loss... Heavens gain!
