Obituary for Ellis McCuin
Ellis McCuin, 73, passed from this life into eternal life on Tuesday, June 9th in Hector, AR.
He was the owner and operator of Mac’s Food Market in Hector for 43 years and a well known contributor to the community. He also was a pastor of several churches of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim McCuin; mother, Bertha Sammons McCuin; brother R.H. McCuin.
To carry on his legacy is his wife of 52 years, Angel McCuin of Russellville, AR; son, Michael and wife Shonda of Visalia, CA; daughter, Stacy and husband Christopher Martin of Hector, AR; grandchildren Hanna and Dakota Mott of Flat Rock, MI; Evan Gray of Bentonville, AR; Hannah Martin of Hector, AR; Grayson McCuin of Visalia, CA; two great grandchildren, Hank and Lola Mott of Flat Rock, MI; 2 sisters, Elma Zell and husband J.D. Chronister, and Lola and husband Ed Condley; and numerous other family and friends.
Graveside services with family and friends will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, June 11th at Nogo Cemetary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to the Ellis McCuin Memorial Fund at any Diamond Bank location, or to Arkansas Hospice, 2405 East Parkway Suite 3, Russellville, AR, 72802. The Memorial Fund scholarship will be presented annually to a Hector High School graduate continuing education.
