Obituary for Elizabeth Hamblin
Elizabeth Carolyn Peters Hamblin, born April 2, 1928 in Atkins, Pope County, Arkansas, peacefully passed on to be with God on June 22, 2019 in Rockwall, Texas having been blessed with 91 wonderful years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David A. (Jack) and Georgia Hutson Johnson. In addition to her parents her husband, Clyde Peters, sons John and Wayne Peters, Grandson Kevin Garcia, four sisters, Georgia Trumpfhelller, Alice Bratton, Sue Bratton, Thelma Lawhorn and one brother, Elmer (Bud) Johnson.
Survivors include Earl Peters of Nevada. Joe Peters and spouse Franny Peters of California and one sister, Margie Norris of Russellville. She has 9 wonderful grandchildren, 11 amazing great grandchildren, and 4 glorious great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Lemley Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Oakland Cemetary, Atkins at 10:00 am.
