Edith Pearce Duvall, 83, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, at her home of 58 years in Atkins. She was born October 26, 1936, in Atkins, to the late Frank and Lillian Goins Pearce. She retired after 27 years at Conagra Foods in Russellville, and was a proud member of the Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Alfred Duvall; a brother and sister-in-law, Clelon and Ann Pearce; and a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Elmer “Bud” Pratt.
She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Dorcas Duvall, and Robert and Julie Duvall; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Rayburn and Vivian Pearce, and Raymond and Sherry Pearce; grandchildren, Caleb and Susan Duvall, Brittany and Zach Schaeffer, Erin and Bobby Possage, Jeremy and Josie Morrow, and Jeremy and Emma Duvall; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 16 at Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny McCoy and Rev. James Chronister officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00 PM at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are Don Virden, B.J. Gooden, Cliff Wiggins, Todd Pearce, Bobby Possage and Jeremy Duvall.
Honorary pallbearers are Rayburn Pearce, Raymond Pearce, Buddy Goins, and Tim Younger.
