What a wonderful human being , Eddie Tackett.
I have known him for 10 years and had the honor of taking care of his family farm crop insurance. Every time I visited him he had a smile when I arrived and when I left.
What an inspiration to all farmers in Arkansas.
He will be missed and his family was very lucky to have him as a family man.

Most regretably I will not be able to attend the funeral to celebrate the life of Eddie Tackett. I considered Eddie as a dear friend and have the utmost respect and appreciation for him as a man and as a farmer. Eddie will be rembered as a most innovative and enthusiatic agriculturist and was dedicated to helping his community. I know he loved his wife and daughters with all his heart and my deepest condolences are extended to them and they are in my prayers. I have lost a dear friend and personally benefitted greatly for knowing him.

Eddie was a beloved friend and partner of our family. He farmed our land for a quarter century providing for both his and our family. We are eternally grateful for his labor and stewardship. We will greatly miss our fellowship with Eddie as it was the highlight of each annual trip to Atkins. The greatness of a man is not defined by wealth or grand accomplishments but by how he treats, cares and loves his family and friends and in that respect, there is no greater man. The Matthews, (Mary, Rebecca, Ellen, Olivia and Ross) send their love and deepest condolences to Cindy, Brandi, and Cassie. Eddie lives in us forever.
