Obituary for Duard Wade
Duard Wade, 96, of Atkins, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019, at his home. He was born April 25, 1923, in Atkins, son of the late Enoch and Cora Davis Wade. He was of the Church of Christ faith, and was a real patriot.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Homer Wade, Abe Wade, Carl Wade, and Emmett Wade; 3 sisters, Mabel Kimberlin, Effie Miller, and Gladys Fields Bennett.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Atheleen Wade; many nieces, nephews, and cousins including Johnny and Annette Fields, Tony and Bettye Wade, Mike and Elaine Wade, and Cindy and Debbie Fields.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Atkins Church of Christ with John Mark Fields and Neil Chism officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers are Mike Wade, Robert Alexander, John Minguez, Will Lamberson, and Chad Mitchell.
