Douglas Arthur Ford, 60, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home in Russellville. He was born January 13, 1962, in Russellville, son of the late James A. and Alba Dena Bowden Ford. He was a member of Maple Springs Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters, Anita Adkison and Gloria Yvonne Ford.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Ronnie and Paulette Ford and Chris Ford of Russellville; 2 sisters, Beverly Hay and Dena Ford of Pottsville; brother-in-law, Bobby Adkison of Russellville; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special friend and neighbor, Alvin Turner of Russellville; and 4 special furry friends, Nemus, Zena, Pride and King.

Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, February 18 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. David Downum officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial is in Hoskins Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Pallbearers are Randall Ford, Brian Ford, Jason Hay, Justin Shinn, Kevin Adkison, Logan Connell, Mark Adkison, and Alvin Turner.

Family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses of CARTI and Dr. Thomas Sneed; and the staff of Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home of Russellville.
