Obituary for Dorothy Marable
Dorothy Gay Marable, 87 of Russellville, passed away Saturday, October 15, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born November 17, 1934, in Moreland to the late Arthur and Edna Bewley Hill.
She was a lifelong member of Moreland Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Marable; sister, Dean and husband Warren Barton, and Myrle and husband John White; and a nephew, Lanny Childress.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie and Doyle Armesteadt; nephews, William Childress and Jeff Marable; nieces, Cara and Tracy Adams, Glenda Childress and Tabitha Childress; and a sister-in-law, Dolores Marable.
Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Thursday before service time at Lemley Chapel. Graveside service and burial will be held 2:30 PM, Thursday, October 20, at Paschal Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Molloy under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers are Blake Wilson, B.J. Wilson, Ronnie Pugh, Jeramy Huddleston, Jordan Huddleston, Jeff Marable, William Childress, and Jakobe Huddleston.
