Dorothy Childers, 93, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, December 2, at Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born April 12, 1927, in Atkins, daughter of the late Fred and Dovie McAul. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Linda Childers; and 2 grandchildren, Christina Childers and George Childers.

She was survived by, 1 daughter, Brenda Goodman; 2 sons, Jimmy Childers and Randy Childers; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service and Burial is 11:00 AM, Friday, December 11, at Oakland Cemetery of Atkins, with Bro. Paul Brixey officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
