Dorothea Joan Garrison, 82, formerly of Hector, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, in Russellville. She was born May 7, 1939, in Russellville, daughter of the late James Ross and Bessie Simpson Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jackie Garrison; daughter, Susan Moore; and sister, Jane Jones.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Sherry Melton and Shelly Jack; sister, Jean Keene; grandchildren, Randy Melton, Andy Melton, Jeremy Moore, Patrick Jack, Katelyn Barson, Terah Jack; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Graveside service and burial is 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 1, in Campground Cemetery with Bro. Charles King officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Lemley Chapel.
