Donald G. Meadows, 84, of Atkins, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019, at the Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born July 18, 1935, in Van Buren, son of the late Bolin and Mamie Lynn Meadows. He was a member and deacon of the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Jeremy Coffman.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Meadows; son, Tracy Meadows; daughter, JoLayne and husband Buck Coffman; grandchildren, Josh and Whitney Coffman, Jamie and Brittney Coffman, Morgan and Chris Vermillion, and Aaron Meadows; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 3:00 PM, Friday, December 27, at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Simmons officiating with arrangements under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Private burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Mark Hybner, Jim Rye, Danny Johnston, Jack George, Paul David Duvall and Eugene Duvall.
