Derek Webb, 58, of Atkins, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born August 18, 1961. He was an aviation electrician in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at Fighter Town in Miramar.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Reece Webb; and a son, William James Webb.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Webb; mother, Lila Webb George; sons, Derek Webb of Denver, CO, and B.J. Gooden and wife Brandi of Atkins; daughters, Staci Webb and Traci Webb of Nashville, TN, Jennifer Webb of Perryville, Amanda and husband Joey Nelson of Atkins; 3 brothers, Danny, Dennis and Darrell Webb, all of Atkins; and grandchildren, Lexxie and Abby Gooden, Bianca Brewer, Jackson Price, Brianna and Paisley Stoner, and Emma and Perry Nelson.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 26 at Atkins First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny McCoy officiating. Burial is in Atkins City Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are Cliff Wiggins, Joe Detrick, Don Virden, Monty Coffman, Jason DeLancey, Carlos DeLancey, and honorary pallbearer Jackson Price.
