Dennis Ray, Sr., passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020, at his home. He was born November 24, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois. He worked in sales and marketing and was a Pentecostal preacher.
He was preceded in death by his father, S.T. Ray; and a sister, Shelly Myers.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hinerman Ray; children, Denesa Shaw and husband Cody, and Dennis Ray, Jr. and wife Rachael; grandchildren, Acton Blake Cole, Brenton Lane Ray, Autumn Christine Limbocker, Jaxon Grant Ray, Peyton Elizabeth Ray, Paisley Anelise Shaw, and Grayah Lane Shaw; siblings, Howard Keith Ray and wife Freida, Sherry Hankock and husband Billy, Gary Ray and wife Nola, and Kim Wells; mother and step-father, Evelyn and husband Sam Wells; step-mother, Shirley Ray; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 4, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Phillip Hedden officiating. Burial is in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
