Delores Ashmore, 70, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Conway Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born July 8, 1948, in Meridian, Mississippi, daughter of Frank and Mabel Crenshaw Starnes.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Gerald Scott “Scottie” Starnes; and a grandson, Jesse Dakota Ennis.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Ashmore; children, Michael Ashmore and wife Jessica, Melissa Duvall, and Jaime Ashmore; grandchildren, Grady and Sawyer Duvall, Gabriel Saucier, Abigail, Genevieve, and Hazel Grace Ashmore; her mother; sister, Diane and husband Wayne Rhea; sister, Donna and husband James Jones; sister-in-law, Linda and husband Ed Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 9, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Stewart officiating. Burial is in Hoskins Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are Kurt Richter, John Virden, Mark Campbell, James Jones, Wayne Rhea, and Carl Rackley. Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren.
