David Burris, 71, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born June 7, 1948, in Missouri, son of the late Neal and Nadine Price Burris. He was a proud member of the Assembly of God Church and the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Deanna Faye Burris.
He is survived by a son, Kyle Burris and wife Brittany; 2 daughters, Tracey and husband Wendell Humphrey, and Tanya and husband Daron Robertson; 1 half-brother; 4 half-sisters; a number of nieces and nephews; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 30, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Holland officiating. Burial with military honors by VFW Rogers-Rye Post #2283 will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are Thomas Robertson, Tyler Robertson, D.J. Robertson, Austin Humphrey, Christopher Humphrey, and Hunter Huffman.
