Obituary for David Ray Buchanan
David Ray Buchanan, 74, of Atkins, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born December 27, 1947, in Florence, Arizona, son of the late Orvel and Viola Sewell Buchanan. He retired from ConAgra Frozen Foods, and served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Wesley Buchanan, James Melvin Buchanan, Orville D. Buchanan; and a sister, Datheal Davis.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Connie Buchanan; daughter, Trina Sue and husband Eric Smart; son, Daniel Ray Buchanan; grandchildren, Autumn Smart, Johnathon Buchanan, Lisa Buchanan, Tucker David Buchanan, and Nicole Whitby; and a sister, Elizabeth Strothied; and a host of nieces, nephews, and claimed kids.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 6, at Lemley Chapel under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday.
