Danny Phillip Gallaher, 73 of Atkins,AR passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, at his home. He was born July 8th, 1945 in LaJose, PA. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents Frank and Alice Gallaher, brother Larry Gallaher, sister Patty Gallaher, daughter-in-law Vicki Gallaher, 2 grandsons Justin & Phillip Gallaher, and great-granddaughter Ka’Liyah Collins.
He is survived by wife of 55 years, Delena Gallaher; 2 sons, Darrel Gallaher and wife Loretta of Atkins, AR, Danny Ray Gallaher of Russellville, AR; 2 daughters, Diane Thornton and husband Matthew of Houston, TX, Debbie Shaddon and husband Kevin of Atkins, AR; 12 grandkids; 13 great-grandkids; 3 brothers, Ronald Gallaher and wife Marilyn of Weimar, TX, Nick Gallaher of Waynesboro, KY, Roger Gallaher and wife Gail of Columbus, TX; 5 sisters, Nancy Simpson and husband Jim of Columbus, TX, Linda Endicott and husband Jim of Purcell, OK, Judy Schmidt of Weimar, TX, Nellie Ilse and husband Billy of Waller, TX, Monnie Schuette of Columbus, TX. A heavenly host of nieces, nephews’ cousins.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, January 18, 2019, at Lemley Chapel with niece Kathy Hajovsky and Missy Courtwright officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services, at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers are Ollie McCallum, Daniel Standridge, Michael Shaddon, Carson Thornton, Samuel Shaddon and Austin Thornton.
