Obituary for Clara Standridge
Clara Standridge, 91, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the Atkins Nursing and Care Center. She was born July 9, 1928, in Atkins, daughter of the late William and Ora Reid Standridge. She was one of the best aunts in the whole wide world.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Minnie Tucker (Delbert); brothers, Robert Standridge and Carl Standridge; and her infant brothers and sisters.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Janette Lewis and Hazel King; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, February 14, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Hank Duvall and Rev. Terry Anthony officiating. Burial is in Bowden Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Teeter, Joey Holcomb, John Hodge, Newton Wiley, Billy Harris and Pat Lewis.
