Christine “Chris” Jewell McNinch, 77, of Hector, went into the arms of Jesus on September 6, 2020, in Little Rock. She was born June 10, 1943, in Dabney, to Liston and Oklea Pack Yarber.

Chris loved her family, working in her yard, going to church, and serving her Lord and Savior. She owned the Hector Café for many years where she made a huge impact on the community. To know Chris was to love her. After retiring, she focused her time on her cabin on the creek. It was heaven on earth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ferrol McNinch; sisters, Regina Pack and Imogene Reed; brothers, Eldie Yarber, Clevon Yarber, J.W. Yarber; an infant brother; and a grandson, Chad Rudder.

She is survived by 3 children, Terry (Lonna) Rudder, Sandy Freeman and David Rudder; 6 grandchildren, Adam (Jennifer) Rudder, Nicole (Randall) Hiett, Alan (Jerrica) Rudder, April Rudder (Matt Tucker), Seth Rudder, and Breanna Rudder; 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way; 2 sisters, Carolyn (Bobby) Wade, and Wanda Campbell; along with a host of family and friends who adored her.

A private family funeral will be held Wednesday, September 9, with a public graveside committal service to follow at 2:30 PM in Rock Springs Cemetery with Bro. Scott Garrison and Bro. Shannon Pruitt officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
