Obituary for Charles M. Ehemann

Charles Michael Ehemann was born in December of 1942. He died due to complications from a fall on June 4, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin & Sabina, his wife of 50 years Ramona, his brother Pat, and his daughter Sharon Lee.

He is survived by siblings & Larry, Peggy, Kenneth & Kevin (wife Linda). His children Christina (Tina), Keith (wife Megan), Anthony (or Christopher), Katherine (Katy), Mary Lynn (husband Virgil) & Michael. Also, his grandchildren: Sharon Lynn, Sarah, Isaac, Thomas, Levi & Charles. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graduate of Sacred Heart High School & Petit Jean Vocational Technical and attended Arkansas Tech and did graduate studies at both Arkansas Tech and the University of Arkansas. He also served as an adjunct faculty member at Arkansas Tech University.

He retired after almost 40 years from teaching welding and metal fabrication to high school students and he actively pursued his faith at Assumption Catholic Church.

He was known for his smile, always being ready to talk, mentor or to work outdoors. To his children he was not only physically strong but also our rock and protector, even to the end.

Funeral mass is 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 9, at Atkins Church of the Assumption with Father Jerome Kodel, OSB officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 PM with rosary to follow at Lemley Chapel. Burial is in Atkins Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Pallbearers are Billy Ehemann, Kurt Ehemann, Zach Ehemann, Isaac Duvall, Levi Ehemann, Thomas Ehemann, Kenneth ‘KC’ Calbert, III, and Devin Ehemann.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Church of Assumption Atkins, Sacred Heart School, St Scholastica Monastery, or Subiaco Monastery.
