Obituary for Charles William Drake
Charles William Drake, 80 of Atkins, passed away Sunday, August 8, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born February 11, 1942, in Kansas, to the late Carl and Jane Yockey Drake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Carol Drake, and Connie Drake.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Denise Drake; 2 daughters, Theresa and husband Brad Chadwick, and Kimberly and husband Greg Hanna; 2 stepdaughters, Tonya Watson, and Bobbi Johnson; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Drake, and Phyllis Alexander; 1 brother, Phillip Drake; and several other family and friends.
Family conducted Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Ada’s Bells Chapel Assembly of God Church, (1380 Bells Chapel Rd, Atkins, AR 72823) with Rev. Chad Duvall and Rev. Ken Partain officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
