Obituary for Carl McKinley

Carl McKinley, 73, of Atkins, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at St. Vincent CHI in Little Rock. He was born November 11, 1946, in Minnesota, son of the late Ronald Alexander and Amy Edith Moorhouse McKinley. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He loved his family and his ‘kidders,’ and loved hunting, fishing, telling stories and singing.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Kathleen Heflin McKinley; daughter, Lisa Adams; parents; brothers and sisters; and a great-grandchild, Magnolia McKinley.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Green McKinley; children, Teresa and husband Cecil Adams, Rhonda and husband Jason Rowe, Scott McKinley and wife Angela, and Dusty McKinley; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; step-children, Beth and husband Wayne Titsworth, Mark Grisham and wife Danielle, Teresa and husband Dave Holliday, and Barbara and husband Ben Ellis; 7 step-grandchildren; brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other friends.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Friday, March 13, 2020, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Jim McNutt and Bro. Bill Hampton officiating. Burial with military honors by VFW Rogers-Rye Post #2283 is in Bells Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, at Lemley Chapel.
