Burlin Luningham, 84, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at the Atkins Nursing and Care Center. He was born September 26, 1936, in Gumlog, son of the late A.G. and Chloe Byrum Luningham.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria Bishop Luningham; brother, Leon Luningham; and nephew, Greg Luningham.
He is survived by a brother, Terry Luningham and wife Vickie; sisters-in-law, Nancy Luningham and Leona Bishop; nieces and nephew, Robert Luningham and wife Misty, Lindsey and husband Eric Harris, Pamma and husband Robert Henderson, Penny and husband Michal Laymon, and Tammy and husband Craig Latham; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and burial is 2:00 PM, Friday, November 13, at Pisgah Cemetery with Rev. David Bishop officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, at Lemley Chapel.
