Obituary for Bruce W. Watkins III
Bruce Watkins III, 18, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in Morrilton. He was born May 21, 2004, the son of Bruce Watkins Jr., and Cynthia Turney Watkins.
Bruce was a kind soul that took on many passions. During the warmer months, you would often find a fishing pole in his hand. When winter would roll around, he would be in the woods. He loved his motorcycle just as much as you would expect any teenage boy to. He was always putting new accessories on it to make it exactly how he wanted it. He loved spending time with his family. He wanted nothing more than for everyone to get along, despite how difficult that may be when you have a tight knit family as big as he did. He loved his girlfriend, Jaine, with his entire soul. They were glued at the hip; when you saw one, you saw both. Jaine was his person, and that was abundantly clear.
He is survived by his parents; his girlfriend, Jaine Rodriguez; siblings, Lisa Watkins, Kaylynn Nicholas (Maygan), and Jayla Watkins; aunts, Kimberly Watkins and Patsy Watkins (Chris Russell); grandparents, Bruce and Donna Watkins and Clarence Smith; great-grandpa, Joe “Buddy” McClish; cousins, Miles Huffman, Jordan Huffman, David Blackwell, and Chelsea Huffman and other cousins, family and friends.
Memorial services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 11, at Lemley Chapel with Sis. Sheila Gardner officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
