Brenda Bratton, 72, of Atkins, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born September 3, 1947, in Leachville, daughter of the late Cordis and Fannie Baker Decker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Kenneth and Little George; 2 sisters, Ruby and Mary; 3 brothers, Riley, Jerry, and Jim; and the father of her children, George Bratton.
She is survived by her children, Kristal Bratton, Darla Thalman (Daryl), and Jesika Bratton; grandchildren, Katie and Bryan Thalman; and her siblings, Gene Decker (Helen) and Lovie Woldring, all of Michigan, Sue Lester of Lake City, and Robin Decker of Manila.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

What can you say about a woman that was larger than life! You taught me so much about cooking to loving too read romance novels. This world will be a quieter place without you aunt Brenda. You are loved by so many and we have so many memories to share about you. I love you aunt BJ! I miss you so much already...

She always called me Pete when we talk talked to Aunt Brenda A lot on Facebook she will be greatly missed love you so much Aunt Brenda Rest In Peace see you when God gets ready to call me home

I was glad to call her friend. I met her and Mr. George when my husband and I moved to Atkins. Mrs. Brenda will be greatly missed, Sharon Tanton
