Obituary for Bobby Lee Standridge

Bobby Lee Standridge, 77, of Hector, went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 17, 2022, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born June 17, 1944, in Pelsor, son of the late George and Nola Johnson Standridge. He was a member of Cedar Grove Assembly of God Church, where he taught the adult Sunday School class for more than 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army, and was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his family dearly. He retired from Firestone (35 years) and ARDOT (5 years).

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Ronnie, Carl, Wayne and Tommy; sister, Bonnie Standridge; and a great-grandson, Roger Levi Standridge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce Standridge; children, Roger Standridge and partner Shannon, and Sharla and Scott Craig; grandchildren, Blake and Leanna Standridge, Ariel Standridge, and Taylor Reddell; step-grandchildren, Nichole Bramlett and Taylor Bramlett; great-grandchildren, Orianna Standridge, Emma Standridge; step-great-grandchildren, Kylar Downing, Katya Downing; sisters, Kathy Fletcher and Angie Nichols; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Cedar Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bobby Judkins, Rev. Jonia Smith, and Rev. Roy Smith officiating. Burial is in Rock Springs Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held from noon-2:00 PM, prior to services.

Pallbearers are Bob Helton, Kenny McGee, Blake Standridge, Taylor Reddell, Scott Craig, Jerry Nichols, and Larry Don Smith. Honorary pallbearers are fellow members of Cedar Grove Church.
