Bobby Bewley, 86, of Atkins, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019, at his home. He was born January 28, 1933, in Conway County, son of the late Thirstle and Mayme Duvall Bewley. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Bowden Bewley; son, Eddie Carroll Bewley; 2 brothers, Jerry and Peanut Bewley; 2 brothers-in-law, John Bowden and Firpo Peugh; grandchild, Jason Bewley; and a great-grandchild, Jaylen Adams.
He is survived by his daughters, Janna Mitchener (Billy), Stephanie Felkins (Aaron), Susan Bewley and Sarah Johnson (Michael); sister, Doris Peugh; brother, Charles Bewley and wife JoAnn; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial is 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21, at Bowden Cemetery with Neil Chism officiating.
Pallbearers are A.J. Felkins, Spencer Hegeman, James Johnson, Eddie Bewley, Jayce Johnson, and Justin Christopher. Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
