Billy Dean Roberds, 85, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Russellville Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born January 13, 1934, on Crow Mountain, son of the late Marvin R. and Verda Lee Bowden Roberds. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Roberds; brothers and sisters, Marlin Roberds, Polly Holubec, and Ronnie Roberds.
He is survived by his children, Jim and Cookie Roberds, Don and Anita Roberds, Bobby and Amy Roberds, Carol Gordon, Debbie and Allen Burris, and Shirlene Johnston; 2 sisters, Gay and Allen Freudenrich, and Faye Taylor; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial are 10:00 AM, Friday, February 15, at Bowden Cemetery on Crow Mountain with Bill Roderick officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be 9:00 AM, Friday, at Lemley’s.
Pallbearers are Aaron Roberds, Seth Roberds, Billy Roberds, and Jeffery Roberds.
