Obituary for Betty Parham

Betty Parham, 81, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Russellville Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 27, 1941, in Perry County, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Elizabeth Emerson Brown.

She was a longtime member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church. Betty was a beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandma. Who adored spending every moment she could with her precious family and “Her Kids” as she always called her grandkids. She enjoyed listening to southern gospel music. Above all else she loved reading her Bible and serving the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands, Noble Waller, and Eugene Parham; and 7 siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Rose (John); stepchildren, Virginia Davis (Dale), Sharon Campbell (Jim), Randy Parham, and Debbie Oglesby (Richard); grandchildren, Mandy Williams (Freddie), and Johnathan Rose; great-grandchildren, Cayden Rose, Jasmine Williams, and Kelvin Williams; and 3 siblings,3 siblings, Bernice Shumate, James Brown, and Doralee Johnson; numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 12 at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Fred Goates officiating. Burial is in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Betty’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Russellville Nursing and Rehab and Arkansas Hospice. The love and care they have shown to our mom and grandma treating her as if she was their own.

Pallbearers are John Rose, Johnathan Rose, Freddie Williams, Cayden Rose, Brad Parham, Mark Parham and Steven Parham.
