Obituary for Anna J. Coffman
Anna J. Coffman, 88 of Atkins passed away, June 11, 2022, at Atkins Nursing and Rehab. She was born May 18, 1934, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late Randolph Spurgeon and Lily Viola Wright Christian.
She was a lifelong member of Happy Valley Assembly of God Church. She was their first Children’s Church Pastor and had a heart for children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert “Pete” Coffman; 3 sons, William Michael Coffman, Damon Randall Coffman, and Stephen Paul Coffman; 2 brothers, Johnny Randolph Wright, and Bobby Gene Wright; and 2 sisters, Catherine Delores Wright and Linda Ann Wright.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula and husband Al Rein; 1 sister-in-law, Jo Anne Wright; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Scott Garrison, Rev. Jeremy Mathis, Al Rein, and Linda Duvall officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery (Atkins) under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Pallbearers are Paul Wayne Duvall, Herbert Cochran, Danny Darter, Robert Heflin, Kenny Roberts, and Tommy Darter. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Welch, Larry, Gary and Lewie Chuculate, Dick Duvall, Junior Taylor, Randy Duvall, Kevin Trigg, James Duvall, and Jim McNutt.
