Obituary for Allie Eulene "Diddle" May McClaren

Allie Eulene “Diddle” May McClaren, 95 of Russellville, passed away Monday, September 19, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born May 14,1927 in Atkins to the late Sam C. May and Myrtle R. Smith May Dixon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Earl McClaren; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Becky McClaren; brothers, Ervin May and Sammy May; sisters, Irene Robinson, Imo Jean Rollins, Janett Holyfield, Margie Norman, and Evelene Turner.

Left to cherish her legacy is her daughters, Janie (Wesley) Roach of Dover, and Paula (Steve) Sharum of Fort Smith; sister, Maxine Rudder of Ben Hur; grandchildren, Jason (Tonya) Roach, Brian Roach, Emily Sharum, Sarah Sharum, Rachael Sharum, Randy McClaren, and Maranda (Alan) Reed; great-grandchildren, Leah Roach, Allie Roach, Cache Linker, Stevie Sharum, Elliott Neff-Sharum, Abraham Sharum, Braiden Sharum, Gavin McClaren, Peyton McClaren, and Kloe Reed; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Atkins First Baptist Church and Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM with Bro. Zach Phillips officiating. Burial will be held in Atkins City Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.

Pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons.
