Joyce Ann McCarter, 68, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born May 7, 1944, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, the daughter of Cecil Dezarn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Vaughn McCarter and wife Michell of Pine Bluff; daughter, Amanda K. Smith of Russellville; 3 grandchildren, Damien Thomas, Montana McCarter and Hannah McCarter; and the father of her children, W.V. McCarter of Russellville.
Arrangements are private under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
