Zona Farmer, 80, of Atkins, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was born October 26, 1931 in Atkins the daughter of Harrison and Florence Vick Haynes. She was a member of the Mountain View Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Farmer; her parents; and one son, Gary Paul Farmer.
She was survived by 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Rita and Eddie Jones and Jeannie Pew; 5 grandchildren, Melanie Jones, Kevin Jones and wife Laura, Erica West, Dylan Pew and Harley Munoz; and 7 great-grandchildren, Nick Ferguson, Josh Jones, Kaylee Jones, Eli Spencer, Silas West, Cooper West and Zoie Pew.
Funeral service is 2:00 PM Friday, November 11 at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Hank Duvall officiating. Private burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday.
Pallbearers are Dylan Pew, Kevin Jones, Nicholas Ferguson and Joshua Jones.
