Obituary for James "J.W." Yarber

James "J.W."  Yarber
James “J.W.” Yarber, 72, of Dover, died Thursday, February 9 at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born March 2, 1939 in Nogo the son of Liston and Oklia Pack Yarber. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, running his dogs and his iPhone. He was of the Assembly of God faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Eldie Lee “Maverick” and Clevon Yarber; and a sister, Ima Jean Reed.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Yarber of Dover; 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Kathy Yarber of Dover, Keith and Jeannie Yarber of Dover, Charles and Kari Yarber of Morrilton and Shawn and Dusti Yarber of Russellville; 12 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Regina Pack, Christine McNitch, Carolyn Wade and Wanda Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 14 at Hector Assembly of God. Burial is in Rock Springs Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6-8:00 PM Monday at Lemley Chapel.
Pallbearers are David Wagler, Dylan Yarber, Devin Yarber, Chanse Yarber, Robert Meeler and Jeff West. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Humphreys, Jay Huff and Ben Baughman.
