Bobby Gene Stephenson, 83, of Atkins, died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at St. Vincent’s in Little Rock. He was born July 29, 1928 in Sunset, Texas the son of Edgar and Vida Willett Stephenson. He was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roy Stephenson; and a sister, Patsy Boyntin.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Stephenson of Atkins; 5 daughters, Beverly Ann Modica, Theresa Crigger, Deanna Giersch, Kimalee Stephenson and Sharlene Henry; son, Lonnie Warren; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 26 at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Bishop and Rev. B.J. Duvall officiating. Burial is in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:00-7:30 Tuesday at Lemley Chapel.
