Obituary for Connie Ramsey

Connie Ramsey
Connie Ramsey, 75, of Hattieville, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, at her home. She was born April 28, 1938, in Moss Point, Mississippi, daughter of the late Grover and Velma Smidtz McCool.
Connie was a woman that had a heart of compassion and love for the world and people around her. She taught her family to be respectful, strong, nurturing and neighborly. She stood by her husband with unconditional love and created a place that was home. Connie made memories that all can look back on and smile with joy. It was rare to find a moment that she did not have a smile on her face or laughter in her voice. She was a modest woman that held her head high with her own opinion. She will be deeply missed. How you spend your days is of course how you spend your life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward McCool; and two sisters, Melzina Beall and Tallese Poole.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ramsey of Hattieville; 3 sons, William B. Warren of Little Rock, Greg Warren of Morrilton, and Travis Warren of Old Hickory; daughter, Aleshia Warren-Lipsmeyer of Morrilton; step-daughters, Candace Brents and Cheryl Ramsey; sister, Yvonne Howard of Pascagoula, Mississippi; grandchildren, William Warren, Lisa C. Warren, Robert Warren, Duke Warren, Randy Warren, Ayrica Warren, Avery Warren and Brandon Brents; and great-grandchildren, Zayle Harvin, Adrianna Warren, Emitt Warren, Jaylynn Warren, Jacob Warren, Kade Warren, Kinley Warren, Greenly Warren and Ayden Warren.
Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, December 21, at Lemley Chapel in Atkins. Private burial will be held at a later date at Swain Cemetery in Newton County.
