Millard Yale "Skeets"  Loveland
Millard Yale “Skeets” Loveland, 88, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Atkins Care Center. He was born August 28, 1925, in Appleton, the son of John W. and Minnie E. Lacy Loveland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Oranel Loveland , brothers, Ira Lee (Bad Egg) Loveland and Bill Loveland.
Skeets is survived by two sisters, Clara Loveland and Flo Ann Bartlett; his children, Judy, Buddy, David and Mark, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Skeets was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and served in WW II in the Navy on an aircraft carrier. He received the Purple Heart award for injuries received when his ship was attacked.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Randell Williams officiating. Burial will be at Appleton Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday at Lemley Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Johnny Loveland, Lester Loveland, Michael Loveland, Jeremy Loveland, Kasey Loter and Scott Webb.
