Obituary for Annis Lewis

Annis  Lewis
Annis L. Lewis, 83, of Dover, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013, at the Atkins Care Center. She was born February 13, 1930, in Conerville, Oklahoma, daughter of the late William Fred and Dorise L. Merryman Edmondson. She loved to sew and make dolls, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Lewis; brother, Ervin Edmondson; 3 sisters, Vera Martin, Rachael Jackson and Elizabeth Timmons; 2 grandsons, Steven Robertson and Brian Dale Allen; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Robertson.
She is survived by 3 sons, Edward Robertson of Atkins, Perry Lewis and wife Denise of Russellville, and Neal Lewis of Atkins; 2 daughters, Feonia and husband James Allen of Hector, and Sherie and husband Daniel Allen of Dover; brother, Peter St. Cloud of Detroit, Michigan, 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and burial is 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 18, at Rest Haven Memorial Park with Rev. Phillip Collie officiating under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM at Lemley Chapel.
Honorary pallbearers are Ed Robertson, Neal Lewis, Perry Lewis, Danny Allen, Bryon Robertson, Michael Lewis and William Lewis.
