Obituary for Rev. Laura Hollowell

Rev. Laura  Hollowell
Laura Hollowell, 96, of Russellville went to be with the Lord October 24, 2011, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born March 30, 1915 in Lamar Arkansas, the daughter of the late Jack and Kate Page Freeman. Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rev. Othell H. Hollowell; brothers and sisters, George Freeman, Clercy McAlister, Prentice Freeman, William Freeman, and Roy Freeman. Laura and Othell pastored many churches from Stockton, California to Bull Frog Valley in Arkansas. In her final years Laura attended First Assembly of God in Russellville.

Laura was one of the greatest people any of us ever had the honor to know. Either through spiritual guidance or kindness in her heart she touched so many lives. Her spiritual devotion has truly earned hera special place in the Kingdom of God. She was looked up to by so many and her passing has left a void that can never be filled; but in the same never forgotten. We love and miss you Grandma, thank you so much for the undying love still felt in all our lives.

She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law; Laura Frances Huneycutt, Tom and Sue McCaul; her grandchildren: Mark Huneycutt, Brent Huneycutt, Tommy McCaul, Crystal Kellar and Lauren Sheppard; great-grandchildren, Jarrett and Alayna McCaul, Garrett and Grant Huneycutt, Trenton and Layla Kellar.

Funeral service is 2:00 PM, Friday at Lemley Funeral Chapel with interment in Owens Cemetery. The Reverends Ronnie Morris, Tommy McCaul and Mike Norberg are officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Lemley Chapel.

Pallbearers are Mark Huneycutt, Brent Huneycutt, Tommy McCaul, Dustin Kellar, Scott Sheppard and Clyde Freeman.
