Obituary for Barbara Ellen Heflin

Barbara  Ellen  Heflin
Barbara Heflin, 70 of Russellville, died Monday, May 18, 2015, at Christus Dubuis of Fort Smith. She was born February 22, 1945, in Casa, daughter of the late Tom and Rena Green Clark. She was disabled. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and enjoyed quilting, jig saw puzzles, gardening and her Ashton Drake Doll collection.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jerry Douglas Nuckolls; her second husband, John Thomas Heflin; 6 sisters and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Nuckolls of Russellville; three daughters, Carolyn (Troy) Heflin of Morrilton, Darlene (Ronnie) Jones of Russellville, and Betty (David) Williamson of Russellville; two brothers, Tony Clark, Sr. of Pottsville and Charles (Minnie) Clark of Plainview; two sisters, Ruby Fitzgerald of Fort Smith and Pauline Workman of Conway; nephew, Tony (Kandy) Clark, Jr.; granddaughter, Dianna Nuckolls and son Dakota; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Lemley Chapel with Bro. Denver Robinson officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at Lemley Chapel.
Memorials in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Pope County Memorial Chair Judy Murphy, 126 Lakeview Circle, Russellville, AR 72802.
Pallbearers are Ricky Ketchum, Paul Bowden, Jerry Pearson, Dustin Heflin, Troy Heflin and Sam Westmoreland.
