Obituary for Myrtle Byrum Duvall

Myrtle Byrum Duvall, 100, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2013, at her home. She was born March 14, 1913, in Moreland, daughter of the late William and Minnie Roberts Byrum. She was a member of the Happy Valley Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Leonard Duvall; 5 brothers, Ellis Byrum, Coleman Byrum, J.M. Byrum, Clifton Byrum and Floyd Byrum; 2 sisters, Dora Byrum and Orean Byrum; and 2 grandsons, Danny Reed and Jeff Reed.
She is survived by her daughter, Haley Sue Duvall Reed of Russellville; granddaughter, Brenda and husband Ronny Johnston of Atkins; great-grandson, Chad Johnston and wife Kari of Denton, Texas; and a sister, Vera Roach of Russellville.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Monday, July 29, at Happy Valley Assembly of God Church with Rev. Johnny McCoy and Rev. Bob Alexander officiating. Burial is in Suggs Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday.
Pallbearers are Junior Byrum, Dennis Roach, Jim Byrum, Lonnie Byrum, Bill Byrum, Keith Byrum and Eric Byrum. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Heflin, Robbie Robertston, Paul Duvall, Don Chronister, Jim Chronister, Paul W. Duvall and Kenny Linboom.
