L.B. Duvall, 78, of Morrilton, formerly of Atkins, died Monday, January 30, 2012 at River Chase Rehabilitation and Care Center in Morrilton. He was born March 12, 1933 in Pope County the son of Grady and Bernice Duvall. He was a member of Happy Valley Assembly of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Finis Duvall; sister, Nina Ruth Duvall; a daughter, Sheila Duvall Sommers; previous wife, Wanda Duvall; and a stepdaughter, Debbie Short.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Duvall; a son, Stevie and wife Tamara Duvall; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Clifford Champion, Janice and Lewis Tucker, and Brenda and Mark Irmer; 5 stepdaughters, Joyce Birchfield, Sharon James, Betty Jo Mason, Brenda Huff and Dana McCain; 2 stepsons, Allen Pruitt and Jason Dunn; 2 sisters and brother-in-laws, J.R. and Lmurl Boren and Alton (Hoot) and Peggy Nelson; a brother, Bobby Duvall; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous step-grand and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is 2:00 PM Thursday, February 2 and Happy Valley Assembly of God with Rev. Chad Duvall officiating. Burial is in Shady Grove Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday.
Pallbearers are the grandsons.
