Jimmy Mac  Davis
Jimmy Mac Davis, 74, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born April 9, 1939, in Dyess, Arkansas, the son of Richard Alton and Fleeta Howell Davis. He was a concrete man and a car jockey. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing guitar and being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Junita Smith and Shirley Beach; and 3 brothers, Billy Ray Davis, Dearl Davis and Richard Elton Davis.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Gearldene Huckaby and Betty Sweeden; 2 brothers, Ronnie Davis and Freddy Davis; his first wife, Peggy Lynn Davis, and their children, Cassandra Bowman, Jimmie Davis, Cynthia Babin, Brian Davis, and Christopher Mac Davis, and their grandchildren, Morgan Bowan and Jaisa Davis; second wife, Carol Davis, and their children, Lisa Williams, Samantha Solley, and Brent Little, and their grandchildren, Amber Strom, Jonathan Williams, Meghan Willcutt and Haley Allen; and a great-grandchild, Connor Strom.
Graveside service and burial is 10:00 AM Saturday, July 27, at Shiloh Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday.
