Obituary for Wallace Dacus

Wallace David Dacus, 55, of Russellville, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the Legacy Heights Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Russellville. He was born December 23, 1957, in Covina, California, the son of Donald Madison and Lydia Pauline Dacus. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and loved to fish, ride motorcycles, work with carpentry, and watch movies. He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan and loved his Razorbacks. He always had a smile, and enjoyed the company of family and friends.
He was preceded into the arms of the Lord by his father and a brother, Harold Ray Dacus of Dardanelle.
He is survived by his mother; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Don Dacus of Russellville and Richard Dacus and wife Phyllis of Greenbrier; sister, Paula and husband Sam Hardin of St. Louis, MO; and his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 10, at Grace Baptist Church in Russellville with Pastor Robert Pearce officiating. A family reception will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM prior to services.
