Obituary for Gladys Archer
Gladys Bell Archer, 88, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She was born December 21, 1925, in Clinton, Arkansas, daughter of the late William and Jessie Safley Duvall. She loved to sew and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers, C.T. Duvall, Oscar Duvall, Norman Duvall and J.W. Duvall; and a sister, Barbara Reed.
Survivors include a brother, Bobby Duvall and wife Alma Jean of Atkins; two sons, Lester Archer and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Clarence and Jerry Archer of Valiant, Oklahoma; a daughter, Linda Ruth and husband Roy Sherwood; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service and burial is 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 30, at Robertsville Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, at Lemley Chapel.
